Who are we?
The purpose of the SMS shall be to stimulate, encourage, and enhance professional development in the field of sport management while providing networking opportunities for members of the organization.
President Statement: "SMS has provided me with so many opportunities to develop my professional career and learn valuable lessons as a leader. With that comes building relationships with members, professors, and sport industry professionals. SMS allows anyone to get their foot in the door and prove their hard work and dedication to reach their goals. We provide members with experiences from all areas of the industry from operations to athletic training and coaching. We strive to build our connections on campus and in the community. Lastly, we want all members to gain a professional persona and build relationships that will continue once they become former students."
